The author of this pattern is A. Yatskevich There are some versions of the drawing cobalt net. But the most probable version is that this picture preserves the memory of the days of blockade of Leningrad (nowadays Saint Petersburg). This painting was made by Yatskevich at the porcelain factory in Leningrad in 1944. Now this pattern is a business card of this factory.

Anna Yatskevich worked in the factory during the blockade of Leningrad. She refused to evacuate and decided to stay in her hometown. The windows of the houses were covered with crosses. When the light beam illuminated the window the crosses become bright and strict. So was born the idea of creating a drawing of the famous service.
